this will have to do

Oh and whilst I am here: Flist, we must talk about The Cutting Edge!

As you may or may not recall, I watched the sequel to this movie and was horrified! But did you know that there were more sequels?! I did not!

I feel a need to rewatch the Cutting Edge, and then...not watch these sequels. Did anyone watch them? Were they terrible? (should I waaatch them?)

I love Kate and Douglas. They are the greatest.

I am not ashamed to say that I have seen all 3! LOL

I didn't mind the 3rd one but... it's not a work of genius. But Sassy Latina Hockey Player That Becomes Figure Skater was pretty cool. She wasn't a wet blanket and the relationship between main skater guy and injured partner didn't suck either... hmm now i want to see it again

I watched one of the sequels. It was fairly awful, enough so that the details of the movie have been erased from my brain.

I have not seen the sequels, but I have it on good authority that if I did watch them I'd need to scrub my brain in horror.

If you must watch something akin to the Cutting Edge, watch the CBC reality show Battle of the Blades.

For lo, only Canadians would go "hey, remember that movie? that'd make a BITCHIN' reality series" and thus scare up some hockey players and figure skaters (who apparently must have death wishes the poor dears) and throw them on a rink together.

*facepalm*

I just did my 1001 viewing of the Cutting Edge a few months ago…{*toe-pick*}

When will they learn: there can be only one!!

It’s like, they have one good concept for a movie…then decide: hey…why don’t we ruin it by making a bunch of low-budget, direct-to-DVD-craptastic ones, and milk this sucker for all it’s worth…{i.e. - Bring It On: This-Horse-Is-Dead…}

What really made me want to scrub my brain was the sequel to Center Stage, one of all time favorite, when-I-was-a-little-girl-I-wanted-to-be movies. {scrub…scrub.}

Toe-pick!

Don't waste time on the sequels. They're really not in the same league1

Everything I've heard about the sequels screams stay far, far away. Stick with the glorious original!

TOEPICK!

I found all of the sequels pretty much unwatchable. I miss Kate and Doug!

I thought I saw an entertainment headline somewhere that they're turning this into a reality show!

I actually kinda adored the first sequel (wha? it sucked me in!) but the second sequel/third movie? *hates on it*

Kate and Doug really were the greatest.

Yeah, the sequels are...not good. But now I really want to watch the original.

I'm almost sold by Sassy Latina Hockey Player That Becomes Figure Skater though, hmm...

Tell me about this Centre Stage sequel! How horrible!

i'll have you know that i used "toe pick" in a meeting a couple weeks ago - as a subtle diss - and half the room was rolling. ::::beams::::

That is because IT WAS THE GREATEST.
