but it is such a perfect place

Whilst waiting for the noodles to boil, I've been doing this. I DON'T KNOW WHY. I don't usually do memes (unless they relate to writing):

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. You will update your lj with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

[livejournal.com profile] anr asked:

1. If you were an Evil Overlord, would you have a moat full of angry crocodiles or a complement of 21 armed commando's protecting the entrance of your secret lair?
21 armed commandos. I mean seriously, how do you make the moat of crocodiles angry at all times? Plus, that sounds pretty mean to the crocs.

2. Favourite celebrity pairing (real, rumoured or rpf)?
Alan Rickman/Emma Thompson, hello. Have you all read the thing that Lizzen wrote for me? Page 596.

3. If you worked in the police force, would you give your mother a speeding ticket?
If she was speeding, sure. She's a leadfoot, is my mum.

4. What would you like your (infamous) last words be?
I'm not trying to be trite, I was seriously going to leave this bit blank. I don't really care what my last words would be.

5. Most played song in your iTunes (or equivalent)?
The World is Not Enough, Garbage.

Hey, that reminds me, last week I gave up eggs, and I hadn't told you yet! I am not convinced that free range eggs are actually cruelty free, so yeah. Except D's boss is a vegan who eats eggs from his own chickens, that wander about his farm, and he has given me a couple of eggs. So I guess I have sort of given up eggs. But you know what I mean!

1. Seriously, is there a female character better than Miss P?
2. Should we go somewhere other than the Full Moon Thai?
3. What is your favourite icon?
4. OTP. Name it.

No, me neither, but it's politically strategic to encourage people to buy 'free range.' It says, if given the choice I would rather by products that don't hurt animals. The animal rights movement can make use of that to lobby for other cruelty free products.

And wait 'til I tell you about the dairy industry!

I know about the dairy industry! Just give me time to get used to the idea of vegan cheese (and soy milk in my cereal, yuck). As you know, I'm lactose intolerant anyway, and don't eat a lot of dairy, so theoretically it shouldn't be too difficult.
