The worst thing about being in fandom and living in the future is this: remix stories go live Sunday, today is Sunday, it's twenty past nine, but I know I won't get to read the stories until Monday because it's still Saturday in the US. The anticipation is so frustrating, just because you get to the day and you still can't get the goods.

i never thought about the time difference as 'living in the future' before. huh. you have henceforward enlivened my mind.

sorry i can't do much entertaining lately - it's weird, but since the end of daylight saving 8pm feels like the middle of the night. or maybe i'm just getting old. either way i need about a litre and a half of coke and a pack of No Doze to get me to midnight (remember No Doze? and people thought only interstate truckdrivers used them - hah! what did they know about uni end-of-semester deadlines? NOTHING.)

i should email, i've just been very lazy, sorry. i'm working on a very long thing which i'm getting ready to put to bed, and also my baby wakes up about four or five times a night - still. *puffs cheeks* are you good? i've heard Scrubs is worth the viewing time, so cool.
