bantha_fodder: ([narnia] archer - sloanesomething)
I said that I would make a fic recs post for Imry, but it occurs to me that a number of the things I'd like to rec are at yuletide, which is closed for uploading.

So instead of an actual recs post, this is a brief set of links, and I will make an actual recs post after Christmas.

So. Scroll down to 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. Almost everything Narnia at Silverlakes is awesome, except perhaps for 'Delight,' but I think that's personal preference more than anything. My favourites are 'The Queen in Exile' and 'The Traitor, The Witch and The Lovers.'

Buried, because it is by Ivy Blossom.

My Narnia fic is here. My favourite of the Narnia fic I have written is probably 'Joining Hands as Nations,' which is about Susan, and a little about Peter.

I know that [livejournal.com profile] voleuse has written a handful of Narnia fics, and in case you (generic) weren't interested in fic before the movie but are interested now and therefore missed my recs when I made them last week, you should scroll back through my journal, just the last couple of weeks, because I've got a number fo recs and links to things and stuff.

Right now I am working on possibly the freakiest fic I have ever written - it is about Mr Tumnus, and Claira said she was worried about me when she read over the first few paragraphs, because it was just that freaky. It'll be posted tomorrow, when Claira gets home from woop woop and can finish betaing it.

PS Mr Tumnus is James McAvoy, and it is totally okay to like him. He was on my previous LJ banner, and he is currently on my desktop, and I love him to pieces.

ETA:ZOMG how could I have forgotten [livejournal.com profile] chaos_pockets?! Her stuff, too.

For Plastics.

With thanks to Miss Liz.

And with a lot of love to Sloane, who set me on this path in the first place.

Then, after a bit, Susan came down the tree. She and Peter felt pretty shaky when they met and I won't say there wasn't kissing and crying on both sides. But in Narnia no one thinks any the worse of you for that.
The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

Susan's trust in her brother was not misplaced, for she knew he would find a way. )
