There is not enough Pretender talk going on (right now) (ever), so tonight Pieces and I decided to review some vids. For YOU, fandom. You can thank us later (with fic).

I would first like to talk about 4Ever by AtlantianDream, a vid set to the song by the Veronicas of the same title. It's a vid filled with LOLCUTS and some priceless shots, such as tick tock and the shot of the clock, HILARITY.

Actually, it has some really awesome cuts, too, that make a fun counterpoint to the song. It's fun and kind of works, so.

My second vid review for this evening is Vindicated by FleurdeJude, set to the song of the same name by Dashboard Confessional.

I love vids set to angsty rock, I think the Pretender is perfectly suited to it and I love how this vid opens, the long shot of the Centre and Miss Parker opening the doors in her trademark way.

I love the cut just after a minute in, where Jarod falls to the ground and Miss Parker's gun drops, just ngggh, the implications. And I am selfish shows Miss Parker lifting her hands, covered in someone else's blood, and it sounds trite but it works. The cuts between young!Parker and Jarod and older!Parker and Jarod work too, I hadn't realised how much some of the young shots mirror their older actions.
