AND I want you to talk about Christmas. I am not Christian (if pressed, I'm unlikely to actually talk about my religion at all), but I celebrate Christmas as a time to eat non-stop, get presents, and give presents, and not go to work. I watch A Muppet Christmas Carol at my parents' house with my sister, and The Nightmare before Christmas at my own house. I have lots of picnics and lunches with friends, and become obsessed with making something or other. This year's obsession is making things out of felt (there will be pictures in a bit). On Boxing Day I go to see a movie, and this year there will be more seeing of family and having lunches on that day, too. So, waffle about yours for a moment.

In conclusion, I wrote Narnia fic last night, and I am writing another one now, and you can't have any of it because Claira is at work, and therefore cannot beta it yet. The end.

Ah, you've reminded me, I forgot to waffle on about Christmas. I don't have much to say about it...I'm pretty much agnostic, and yet I love carols so much they make me a bit weepy if I'm in a mood, leading to much internal conflict. As far as I'm concerned, though, this particular Christmas has already come and gone - I've had no spirt at all. Except for when I made my St. Lucia icons. Then, I was filled with Christ's love. I'm going to hell...

Remembering that I'm not five, I'm enjoying it - in fact, I actually like the writing style, for what it is. Sort of makes me think Lemony Snicket took something from Lewis, the random author's notes in the text and the sense of humor about it all. The story's moving quite quickly, and I'm already in love with Peter. Only partly because I'm picturing William Moseley, the rest of it is his moral superiority.

Oh, just the general "NARNIA! W00T!" density of the whole thing. Although I did greatly enjoy (and agree with!) the Aslan = Mary Sue/Narnia = Gospels Fic article. :)
