Lucy falls asleep, her head in Edmund's lap, and he is small but he carries her on his own. Awwww the wee little Edmund carrying his sister/queen. *squees*
And oh! Poor Edmund having to decide whether or not they're guilty, having to condemn them.
He believes in himself, in Aslan; in the rule of his family and in Narnia. I love this line to little bits and pieces.
I do love that Lucy and Edmund pretty much go to battle together in THaHB. I mean, Peter's there, but you know he's leading the army and such (and also in Baynes' drawings one of the boys is in front and the other is next to Lucy and I've always believed sinse I was a wee tiny four-year-old Venny that the latter was Edmund).
