it's funny. some years ago i loved rogue/logan. after the first x-men movie came out, i was all about the rogue/logan. and occasionally about the rogue/cyclops, but that is neither here nor there.

the point is, i'm writing my xmmficathon fic, and my person has requested rogue/logan and i'm three hundred words in and so far it's been all ororo/logan. which is funny. and which just goes to show that when it comes to the x-men, i think they're all shagging.

except magneto and the professor, whose love is enduring and through the ages THE END.

Every time I see Rogue/Logan I have an immediate and visceral reaction along the lines of WTF NOOOOO ROGUE/GAMBIT 4EVAHHHHH!!!!!eleven!

... And then I remember that there were movies which totally did not include the SugarnSpice otp in their canon in any way whatsoever, so it's okay for people to ship Rogue with other characters because Remy does not exist (except for that one glorious time where his name was on the screen for about two seconds, and I squeed. A little bit. What?) And it's weird, because I only started reading the comics after seeing the first movie, but comics r win.

And I can easily get behind the Logan/Roro. Even though I didn't really like the movie version of Storm at first.

I have never seen an X-Man! I remember when I was a kid my friends liked some X-Men cartoon and I was so weirded out a decade later when there were MOVIES and it took me quite a while to figure out that there was like a whole comics franchise and it wasn't all some cheesy thing marketed to third graders a la Power Rangers.

Rogue/Logan has always worked for me -- never needed to branch out into another focus. :)
