txt fic - pretender

This was something I texted to piecesofalice because she was frowny.



It's not that there's ever a time between pretends, but sometimes he can just walk down some random street, catch a bus or a train and look. He starts to take photos; a red flower here, a cool gate there. Later, he starts to email them to her, and the email she receives at one am Tuesday is always from him. She puts them in a folder, calls it a year of tuesdays.
