I have had An Idea!

Inspired by the brilliance of some BSG crossovers that I have been reading, I have decided that we should all write some more crossover fic.

So, how this works (if this works): In a reply to this post, YOU post what fandom/characters you would like to see in the fleet. SOMEONE ELSE will reply to your post, volunteering to write that crossover fic. It can be 100 words, it can be 1000 words. Whatever takes your fancy. And more than one person can volunteer to write for the same person. And you can request more than one crossover - just put them in separate comments. No time limit. Like I said, this might not even work.

Every crossover fic that I can find (no guarantees on quality):
[livejournal.com profile] bantha_fodder: not for all your sins [Sandman]
[livejournal.com profile] sloanesomething: Byzantium [SVU]
[livejournal.com profile] myalchod: untitled Baltar/Desire drabble [Sandman]
[livejournal.com profile] meyerlemon: untitled Six/Thor [SG1]
[livejournal.com profile] liminalliz: The Gift [Matrix]
[livejournal.com profile] cdybedahl: Down by the Docks [firefly]
[livejournal.com profile] angualupin: untitled 100 word drabble [firefly]
[livejournal.com profile] trajictale: ninety seven bottles of beer on the wall [Alias]

And do please tell me if I've missed any bsg/crossover fic.

ETA: Whilst we're here, can I draw your attention to Multiverse 2004: The Many Worlds Space Show Crossover Ficathon, which is a fun archive to work through.

I shall start.

I would like someone to write me a Pretender/BSG crossover, else I shall be forced to write it myself.

Hmmmm, I'd like to take this on. No promises (which means someone else can volunteer too!), but I'll give it a really good roll around my noggin.

Though I do like the idea of Jared suspected as a cylon, this is what took over...

I am not actually sure that you could have been any less productive in making this comment.

Aren't you supposed to be on the phone to France?

Bonjour! Tu es un poisson!

What do you want me to say? I'll write Jarod/Parker on BSG? Is what what you want?

Did you want me to say I would like to see the Thundercats get rescued from a human outpost and immediately insinuate themselves, and Lion-o is a Cylon and Cheetarah and Tigra are pilots and Panthro is an engineer? Is that what you wanrt me to say?

I have this incredible urge to see John Sheppard and Kara bantering in a bar.

Better late than never? It's not as bantery as I would have liked, but I tried.

oohh...this is interesting...if it's another fandom I know, I'd love to tackle this...but in the meantime,

I would love to see John Crichton and Apollo chatting about life and living in their father's shadows...

BSG/House, baby. Substitute house for the BSG grumpy doctor and you have all sorts of fun.

I think I might name my firstborn after someone that can work Gregory House into a story that involves snarking with Starbuck.

The problem for me is that there are only a couple of shows I obsess enough about to be interested in reading or writing fic … I guess the “Farscape” one would work for me … My other current love is “Deadwood” and I really can’t see a crossover with BSG there! By the way, I really liked the Sandman/BSG crossover – it was yummy even though I’m only very tangentially acquainted with the Sandman (they’re too freaking expensive to buy and the library doesn’t carry them and I’d have to have all of them … argh!)

Sandman is worth the time spent sitting in a Borders or other bookstore and reading them, if you can't afford them. SO MUCH SHINY.

(This has nothing to do with the fact that I wrote another Sandman / BSG crossover last night while I couldn't sleep.)

I really want to see Elizabeth Weir and Laura Roslin grousing at each other about the trials of having to cooperate with the military. Watched some more Atlantis last night and I could not get the image out of my head.

Follow-up: aforementioned crossover. These two seria are now dining on my brain together.

Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] stars_like_dust's comment that "Lee can sex anyone as long as he's STILL IN LOVE WITH KARA, because it adds to the angst. And the angst is pretty.", I'd like to request an Inara/Lee fic, where after a bout of hot sex, she helps him unfrak his life (because she's good at that sort of thing). Kara Angst would be lovely.

Heh. This will probably get no takers, but it doesn't hurt to ask :)

dropping in randomly from a link somewhere else to point you toward [livejournal.com profile] bsg1000, where last week's challenge was to write BSG x-overs. and to say that this is a great idea. ;)

just stumbled across this today and I must admit my guilty pleasure crossover wish?

*whispers* a serious Hercules:TLOJ/BSG crossover. *hide* can't help myself. I keep picturing the Olympians they showed us when I hear the Lords of Kobol mentioned on BSG.
