1. she could have loved feyd.
2. when she watches the twins, she feels love for them: she wants to protect them, to shelter them and to teach them, but she does not pretend, even for a minute, that they need anything from her. they are self-sufficient, and they do not need her, though she wishes they did.
3. when duncan idaho wakes for the third time, he opens his eyes and she is there to greet him with a smile. this is not a coincidence.
