I'm sort of around, but not really. I'll answer comments soon. Srsly.

THINGS:

  • The trailer for Prince Caspian. Although Caspian looks a bit older than he should, and at least in the trailer has the most hilarious accent, I am quite enamoured and very excited. Susan DOES STUFF and KNOWS STUFF and William and Anna are looking beautiful and yes. I am excited.

  • Getting our hopes up ridiculously, Steven Long Mitchell and Craig Van Sickle have said they've chatted with MTW and might bring the Pretender back. As much as I want this to happen, if there's no Miss Parker then I'd be so sad, because the Pretender wasn't about Jarod's dumb pretends, it was about the Centre and Jarod and Miss Parker (and LYLE).

  • Robert Pattinson will be playing Edward in Twilight.

  • I haven't watched it yet, but I have been tagging stuff in my del.icio.us for Tinman.

Anything good going on?

And when I say vertical scroll I mean horizontal. Darling, the enforced blue of your webpage means that those of us with smaller resolutions means that we have to scroll sideways (I saw it earlier from a different computer).

If the Pretender comes back, all we want is smoochies.

Just sayin'.

*points above to kirbyfest* What she said, multiplied. And what you said, tripled. Wish we knew when we'd hear something definite.

I enjoyed Tinman, although it could've been better. The visuals were sparkly, the characters weren't bad, the plot was... hmm. Not what I would've wanted. STill liked, though.

I've yet to watch Tinman, and though I definitely want to watch it I am concerned that it's a bit lame.

I want the final Pretender movie so very much, but I think it has to have Miss P and Jarod and Lyle, and it should probably have Raines and Broots and Sydney.

Tinman is a bit lame. Not helped by our villainess, who I finally recognized from Beverly Hills 90210 mid-way through Part 2. And also not helped by the cheezy acting from a couple characters. Still, the world-building is great, and D.G. is cool. Worth watching, I'll say that.

I do wonder if they could possibly *get* Jamie at this point, since Desperate Housewives is so busy. Then again, maybe if he just shows up for a minute, they can wrap it up. Sydney and Broots are not optional, though.

I think it was that shock moment of Tilda that I loved almost the most.

Well, I have not yet read your fic. Perhaps I will not like it! But I often enjoy reading yours, so we shall see. :o)

I am cautiously excited. But then, I don't expect it to be a very good movie anyway, what with the plot being a bit lacking. :o/

This is true. I might not even see it, as I'm wont to do with all movies that are made from books I like.
Still. It's good to know at least someone worthy is in it.

*blinks* Seriously, whaaa?

They said "digital format" and "Digital platform" and I did wonder what the heck they were talking about. Are they talking a game, instead of a TV movie, maybe?

I would be so sad, man.

Seconding the sad!

Edit (gods, if only I finished a thought before hitting enter I wouldn't have to use the edit function so damn much): Broots and Sydney are totally not optional!

It said digital platform and digital media/medium or something... I should have grabbed the line and quoted it when I commented.

Edit: Found it! we're working on bringing that back in a whole new form, in a digital form and in a digital platform

That's what I found slightly worrisome. No wacky Beowulfs please.
