okay. i am going to talk about blade: trinity for just a minute. sorry for the multi-postage today.

i have been dying to see this movie since it came out last year. i was SO HAPPY. i love the blade movies. i know they're not so good, but they are just so much fun, and also they have kris kristofferson. i mean, where can you go wrong?

CLEARLY. OMG. this movie was a whole new level of bad, declared D when we finished watching it.

i have the following points to make (spoiler free):

1. hannibal and abigail were clearly sexing.
2. i'd say, asher and danica had an inappropriate relationship, except they were VAMPIRES and clearly no relationship is too inappropriate in such a situation
3. omg CALLUM KEITH RENNIE WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING IN THIS MOVIE?
4. the title of the movie should have been blade trinity: when good actors end up in really crap movies. other movies in this franchise include star wars: attack of the clones, batman and robin, and charlie's angels: full throttle. did you notice how they're all sequels? although admitedly non-sequel movies can be part of this franchise.
5. the guy who played drake is dominic purcell. apparently he played someone named seamus in equilibrium. very important question: who the hell is seamus? i cannot remember a 'seamus' from this beloved yet tacky of movies. in fact, equilibrium could very well be a part of the aforementioned franchise.
6. NATASHA LYONNE OMG YOU WERE WASTED. AND WHAT THE HELL WAS WITH THAT RECORDING?
7. was any decent blade fic written at any point? i've read silverlakes. i'm going to come straight out and say i'm not really interested in reading blade, i want all the rest of them please.

okay. that's it. bed time.

He was in this? Hmm. I might have to rent it.

I'm sad to say that I was one of the few that actually saw this when it was in the theatres. I didn't think it was too terrible, considering. Then again, I haven't seen the other Blades, so I can't compare Trinity to them.

I really enjoyed it. But it was really bad. Much like the other movies I named, all of which are really bad but I still own because I love watching them.

CKR was FABULOUS. I kept watching him and thinking of Leoben and it was delicious.

I would have seen it in the cinemas if it'd been there long enough, but it was only in (here, at least) a couple of weeks and i didn't get time.

MY CYLON BOYFRIEND OMG.

The other Blades are bad/awesome in their own ways... but they're enjoyable popcorn movies with moments of greatness. I'd skip 2 though. *shudders* It gets extremely cracked out.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. IT'S SOOOOO DELICIOUSLY TERRIBLE. *lusts*

1. Really? *blinks*.... really?
2. MMMMM. But TOTALLY HOT.
3. MY CYLON BOYFRIEND YAY!
4. The title of the movie should have alluded to the fact that it was just a big iPod commerical.
5. OMG! And if I had my Equillibrium DVD, I would totally watch it to research that point. Umm...yeah!
6. People write Blade fic? I guess it happens...errr...

Best line EVER: -- "Her name is Danica Talos. You met her earlier. And unlike typical vampires, her fangs are located in her vagina. *pause* Moving on..."

Of course, this is a best line ever because I'm an academic DORK in love with the vagina dentata idea, HAHAH, so..umm...yeah!

OMG of course there was Blade fic. But I want more! I suppose I shall have to write it myself. Alas! What a hardship!

5. Okay, remember the very first scene in Equilibrium? Where Christian Bale is all hot and stuff and there are a bunch of rebels holed up in a building and he totally goes through a door (and I mean /through/) and into a darkened room and kills them all? And the leader of the rebels is this burly guy with a beard? I think that's him. The leader guy with the beard. Which is why I can't place him exactly because he doesn't have a beard in his imdb promo shots. But. Yes. Anyway.

Speaking of Dominic Purcell, how totally watchable does his movie "The Invincible" sound? It sounds like live action Captain Planet or something awesome like that. :D

Did you notice that Dominic Purcell was in Heartbreak High and Water Rats? That made me laugh and laugh.

I don't know if you're right about that, because on IMDb he's billed first and that makes no sense for a guy in it for two minutes. Also, why would the character have a name if he's killed in the first two minutes?

I'm totally going to watch it when I get home tonight just to work out who he is, because it is bugging me.

Hee! May I just say how much it's amusing me that people are all OMG CKR! based off his stint on BSG.

As for what he was doing? Playing with the vampire Pomeranian, of course. And oh yeah, they definintely kept the love in that vampire family, if you know what I mean. *g*

Yeah, nobody cares about his time in that stupid dS. And why is it always written like that? 'dS' ?

because, er, the due in 'due South' was always lower-case...or at least that's how it is on my dvd sets.

And please, Callum in dS is great, but omg with the Hard Core Logo.
