i wish i knew which button to push

I wish that I was good at writing angsty fic that makes you cry. I can write playful fic, and I can write complicated fic, and I can write fic that doesn't end happily, but just once I want to write something that makes someone burst into tears at the end of it.


fics that make me cry:

SGA. Things Left Behind by lemonbella. Gen. It's a slow, sad fic, but it's the final line that makes me burst into tears.

Good Omens. Bright With His Splendor by daegaer. It's Aziraphale and Crowley through the ages, and it makes me cry because it's so beautiful.


Please share with me fics that make you sad. Any fandom, although if it's for a fandom that I read, then that's good too.

I am a sook, so many fics make me cry. But this was the first one I thought of.

Childhood Treasures (http://devildoll.livejournal.com/687663.html) by devildoll. Narnia fic. Lucy/Tumnus. But not creepy, and ohso heartbreaking.

Probably the first fic to make me cry (just a little) and the first one I could think of off the top of my head: My Everything: The Hermione Monologues. HP, includes both H/Hr and R/Hr but not in a threesome way.

I'm addicted to BSG right now and have found that rheana's fic "Twelve" has stood the tearjerker test of time. Really good. Really long. And I cried. I'm newish to lj and am still too lazy to figure out how to hide links behind cuts..so here is the link to the story:
