I wrote fifty three stories in twenty two fandoms - that's thirteen less stories than 2005, but in more fandoms.

Favourite Fic over all:
Ooh, this was a hard decision, but probably The Wreck Keeps Running, a Pretender/BSG crossover.

Assorted Favourites:
Blood Like Holy Wine (constant in the darkness) - the beauty of infidelicious pilots.
Silence in the Revelation - a Pretender/Dune crossover. Parker and Lyle on Arrakis.
All Messed Up (in a trusted wreck) - PotC, Anamaria and Norrington between CotBP and DMC. I tried so hard to make it conceivable that they knew each other, that they worked together, and I was really pleased with how this worked.
An Upside-Down Vision. Edmund, the Just.
Slowly Creeping In. Kitty Pryde, after X3.

One I'm Really Pleased With:
In Which There Is a Movie, and Friends, because it was Anna/Will written in the style of CS Lewis, and I think I just about managed it, too. I would quote my favourite line, but it is too long, so I shall quote my second favourite instead: At rehearsals, and in costume fittings, and in front of the camera and in the taxi home at night (especially in the taxi home at night, for the darkness masks many sins, which is why you should always be careful at night, and never walk alone in the dark), William wished to push away the soft fabrics at Anna's shoulder.

Most Under-Appreciated:
New Bonhomie. This was a Smallville fic written for [livejournal.com profile] tab_a_slot_b, the Smallville het challenge, and not even the person who issued the prompt commented on this fic, which, ARGH.

Most Fun:
The Pilot Bride. Crackfic based on The Princess Bride.

BSG:
For a fandom I have loved and lost, I still managed to write ten stories. Nowhere near the thirty stories I wrote in 2005, but not bad considering it broke my heart. And I'm so ridiculously happy with Blood Like Holy Wine, and I'm obsessed, now, with BSG crossovers, so at least I know my love is still there.
Taking Cue (past holds on). Kara and Caprica!Boomer for [livejournal.com profile] florahart in the Female Gen Ficathon. Because they used to be friends.
The Pilot Bride. Crackfic based on The Princess Bride.
Blood Like Holy Wine (constant in the darkness). This was my infidelicious pilots opus. I worked on this for so long, and was so worried that someone else would post the slow deterioration of Kara and Lee before I could finish it.
The Wreck Keeps Running. Miss Parker and Jarod in the colonies. This fic was the start of a BSG/crossover obsession (and the reignition of my Pretender obsession).
Eight Track. Apollo/Boomer as a gift.
The Furthest Distance between Two Points. Lee and Kara in fifty sentences. Cowritten with [livejournal.com profile] stars_like_dust.
Acknowledge No Frontier. A BSG/Stealth crossover. Kara, Ben and Henry at the end of the world.
Five Things: five times people observe something between Kara and Lee.
Five Things: five times Kara and Lee were infidelicious.
A Refrain of the Things Behind Us (a brand new start). The fleet finds the thirteenth colony. This is all about Roslin, and I've always had a lot of difficulty writing her so I'm pleased with this.

The Changeover:
On a Road to Wherever. Laura, after.

Constantine:
I think I loved working with Gabriel the best out of all of these characters.
These Pills to Fill up My Soul. A multi-character piece.
Getting Lost is Easier than Losing Your Mind. A Constantine/Sandman/Mirrormask crossover, featuring Helena and Valentine and an assorted cast of thousands.

The Cutting Edge:
I love it so much when I can write a story for a fandom where no one else writes. Just a lovely little one off that I'm pleased with (there is one other Cutting Edge fic that I know of).
The Ugliness You See (to the left, the fallout). Whoever decided that Kate and Doug won the gold was FULL OF SHIT. Because they didn't.

DCU:
You should see the DCU thing I'm working on right now.
Letters Full of Excuses. Selina Kyle visits Smallville. Crossover with Smallville.
Hibernacula (the Like We Were Yesterday) remix. Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne, a long time ago.

Dune:
I'm not sure that words can describe the love, the obsession, I have for this text.
Pond Full of Regrets (can't stay). This is about Irulan, and living with the decisions she has made.
Get There Somehow (guide the way). Jessica is the Holy Mother, and she knows what is best.
The Future, Frameless in Design. The twins are creepy.
The Time for Sleep (nothing to cry about). Ghanima is more than what her brother has made her.
Five Things: five names for Ghanima.
Silence in the Revelation. Lyle and Parker on Arrakis.
Nothing to Show for It. Duncan Idaho keeps making the same mistakes.
A Refrain of the Things Behind Us (a brand new start). The fleet finds the thirteenth colony.

Grey's Anatomy:
Great series. Really difficult for me to write, though.
The Rumble in Her Eye. Bailey. Also secretly a crossover.
As Beautiful As. Addison.
This Terrible Mess. Isabel Stevens IS Izzie Evans, and she ran away to save her brother. OH ROSWELL.

La Femme Nikita:
If I have an obsession with spies (and I do), I credit that obsession to this show. I would love to write more LFN this upcoming year.
A Momentary Distraction. Operations and Madeline in a weird sexual harassment kind of relationship.

Law and Order: SVU:
I think I've left this fandom behind. I don't know if I want it anymore.
random snippet. In the squadroom.

Mirrormask:
If you haven't seen this movie, you really, really should.
The Flame in Your Eyes. unValentine learning to live in the circus.
Getting Lost is Easier than Losing Your Mind. A Constantine/Sandman/Mirrormask crossover, featuring Helena and Valentine and an assorted cast of thousands.
Five Things: five times Valentine saw an aspect of Helena that gave him deja vu.

Narnia:
I am surprised that I didn't write more Narnia this year. I honestly don't know why I didn't, though I'm still happy with what I did manage to write.
Don't Want to See the End, an unfinished choose your own adventure about the Pevensies.
An Upside-Down Vision. Edmund learns to live with his sins.
In the Absence of Evidence. Jill and Eustace are not happy, and they long for Narnia.
Towards a Great Adventure. Jill, after The Last Battle.

Pirates of the Caribbean:
All Messed Up (in a trusted wreck). Norrington and Anamaria, between CotBP and DMC. This is about the things that happen to Norrington to change him so much.

The Pretender:
I have so much more left to say, and no fear that anyone will say it before I have the chance.
The Wreck Keeps Running. Miss Parker and Jarod in the colonies. This fic was the start of a BSG/crossover obsession (and the reignition of my Pretender obsession).
Said You Were Back in Town. An AU, where Jarod and Parker ARE SPIES.
Turn Out to Be. Baby!Jarod.
Never as Clear as a Mirror. 5 x 200 words about the battle between Miss Parker and Jarod.
Palindrome. There are no happy endings for Miss Parker, nor for Jarod, nor for Lyle. But there are no endings, either.
A Blind Man so Confused BROOTS. During and after 'The Bank.'
Silence in the Revelation. Lyle and Parker on Arrakis. I am SO HAPPY with how this turned out.

Real Person Lies:
They're lies, but so awesome!
In Which There Is A Movie, And Friends. Narnia RPF, Anna/William.
Five Things: five times Ben and Claudia invade each others' personal space.
An Attempt to Change the Subject. Daniel Craig and Eva Green (are HOT).

Roswell:
You can say anything you want about HP, or SGA, or SPN, but they're all little babies compared to the wank generated by this fandom when it was still current. I was really pleased to get back to writing Roswell this year - it was my first active fandom, and I wrote so much for it back then.
This Terrible Mess. Isabel Stevens IS Izzie Evans, and she ran away (and became a doctor) to save her brother.
The Closer You Get. Michael and Maria on a road trip.
No Way to Be Sure. A Roswell/Veronica Mars crossover.

Sandman:
Getting Lost is Easier than Losing Your Mind. A Constantine/Sandman/Mirrormask crossover, featuring Helena and Valentine and an assorted cast of thousands.

Smallville:
This fandom is dead to me.
untitled Chloe drabble.
Letters Full of Excuses. Selina Kyle visits Smallville. Crossover with DCU.
Hibernacula (the Like We Were Yesterday) remix. Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne, a long time ago.
New Bonhomie. Lex is a criminal mastermind and Chloe is his head of security (for tabaslotb).
Letters She'll Never Send Home. Chloe, in an experimental style.

Stargate: Atlantis:
I'm surprised I didn't write more, but then, I find SGA very difficult to get my head around.
Spoken Over Time. Teyla.

Stealth:
Try to Break. Kara and Ben, falling apart.
Acknowledge No Frontier. A BSG/Stealth crossover. Kara, Ben and Henry at the end of the world.

Stick It:
The Dust Building Up at Our Feet. Hayley, growing into the VGA. My yuletide assignment.

Veronica Mars:
No Way to Be Sure. A Roswell/Veronica Mars crossover.

X-Men:
OH MAN I LOVE THE XMEN. And also the Brotherhood. But I find all of them really difficult to write.
Slowly Creeping In. After everyone falls, Kitty keeps on going.
The Warmth on the Street. Logan stops running. Sort of.

CROSSOVERS (in order written):
Letters Full of Excuses. Smallville/DCU.
The Wreck Keeps Running. BSG/the Pretender.
The Rumble in Her Eye. Grey's Anatomy/BSG.
Hibernacula (the Like We Were Yesterday) remix. Smallville/DCU.
This Terrible Mess. Grey's Anatomy/Roswell.
No Way to Be Sure. Roswell/Veronica Mars.
Getting Lost is Easier than Losing Your Mind. Constantine/Sandman/Mirrormask.
Acknowledge No Frontier. BSG/Stealth.
Silence in the Revelation. Dune/The Pretender.
A Refrain of the Things Behind Us (a brand new start). BSG/Dune.

Fic Goals for 2007:
I want to write BSG again.
I want to learn how to write Hannibal King and Abigail Whistler.
I want to write more fic incorporating my newly realised fic kink, people having to share a bed/sleeping space. aldskfjalkjfd.
Finish the works in progress I'm stuck on: the Teyla-is-pregnant thing (TRUST ME); Fahye's birthday present; Irulan, for Sloane.
Everything here.
More of my favourites, Dune and Narnia and the Pretender.
I am going to try to experiment more with styles. I only wrote in three or four different styles this year, and only one of those could be considered experimental. I want to stretch myself a little more.
To try and rec more often.

Can I just say that I still love that Stealth/BSG crossover MORE THAN ANYTHING.

It's because Stealth is awesome, and BSG is awesome, and combined it's 2(awesome), right? It's why I flail myself into insensibility at the idea of BSG/Pretender, or BSG/Dune, or any of that.

I'll send e-mail a bit later...

But I wanted to thank-you, once again. You did a lovely job capturing the cadence and grace of Mahy, and you made me very, very happy.

It was such a joy, and I was glad to do it! I really enjoyed writing it.

You shame me.
I have written nothing.
I said it was cos I was too busy.
But you are as busy as me.
And look how much you wrote.
*sackcloth and ashes*

Darling. You mustn't feel bad at all. You are much more busy than I am, and your achievements are much more than just derivative fictions.

Besides, that sackcloth will look terrible in your new wardrobe of joy.
