I wrote forty eight fics in twenty fandoms, and I was definitely, drastically less prolific than in 2006. And also less adventurous, I feel.

Favourite Fic over all:
This is hard. I've realised just in the last couple of days that I've become very unenthused by my writing of late, and I think it shows, both in the reduced number of things that I've written and the passion with which I've written them. I think it's pretty clear, however, that my love of The Pretender is still running strong, and with that and mine my favourite fic over all is probably All the Flickering Lights, because I love the idea of Miss Parker with wings, struggling with who she is becoming and who she is, and I love the image of Jarod grooming her wings, and the secret of this fic is that one day, I suspect that Lyle too will grow wings. Because hello, twins. And maybe I'll write that fic too, one day.

Assorted Favourites:
A Sweet Display of Nothingess (Of Everything) (Of Nevermind). Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson, playing tricks on one another. This story is my ode to old friendships.
Not the Wrong Girl, a story of how Chloe comes to Lex's side.
Strangest Quiet on the Street, Parker chasing Jarod across South Africa.
Lights Turned Way Down Low, Rogue joining the Brotherhood (with awesome from Pyro).
This City, The Ruins in Its Heart. Alia, trying to save the universe and break it at the same time.
Dog-Gone Days, because Phryne Fisher is an absolute delight.

Most Under-Appreciated:
I am predicting Dog-Gone Days, because very few people have read the Phryne Fisher books.

Most Fun:
Timestamps for A Refrain of the Things Behind Us, because the idea of Kara and Lee and Roslin on Arrakis is just too much, too awesome, and the idea that the thing that drives Laura is the possibility of restoring Billy with the Tleilaxu technology is just ! !!

Battlestar Galactica:
Timestamps for A Refrain of the Things Behind Us - Kara and Lee and the Twins; and Laura and Billy.

Blade:
Just Like a Hundred Times Before, Abby and King hunting demons on CNY.
Untitled, Abby and her bow.

Dune:
Timestamps for A Refrain of the Things Behind Us - Kara and Lee and the Twins; and Laura and Billy.
No Uncertain Clarity, the Twins and the legends of the Nian.
Five times Jessica worried about her grandchildren
This Shape, Captured by the Light. Irulan is caught up in the games that the Twins continue to play.
This City, The Ruins in Its Heart. This is about Alia, her journey from pre-born to knife, written for the femgenficathon.
In Certain Towns, Farad'n, written for yuletide.

Eating Chinese Food Naked:
A Garden, Disturbed by Echoes. Ruby and the imperfect fit of who we are supposed to be.

Firefly:
Your Posture in the Celestial Realm. Lantern Festival for CNY.

Harry Potter:
One Among the Hundreds, Cho struggling through CNY.
Our Own Legends in the Silence, Charlie Weasley and the dragons.

Heroes:
No Such Thing, Claire. I got into Heroes this year and it's been fun but perhaps it's over. She's very beautiful, though.

Kill Bill:
Just the Ticket to Ride. O-Ren Ishii.

Law and Order: SVU:
A Glimpse in Mirrors, Huang and the discomfort of our traditions.

The Muppets:
The Great Muppet Chinese New Year.
Five Actors on Piggy's Freebie List

Narnia:
Five times Edmund saves Lucy
We Can Start Over (the warm by the fire remix), for remix redux. A remix of Lizzen's fic 'We Can Start Over Again,' a tale of Edmund and Lucy in Archenland.
This Silver Moment, Covered with Mud, Susan returns from America and has an adventure with Peter.

Phryne Fisher Mysteries:
So Close to Bedrock. Phryne looks perfect in any room, except perhaps the rooms belonging to the family of her lover, Lin Chung.
Dog-Gone Days, Phryne has another mystery to solve.

The Pretender:
With the Lights Left On, Miss Parker, chasing Jarod through the new year.
Strangest Quiet on the Street, Miss Parker follows Jarod across the world, and it's still a game but it's not, not really.
Thankful You're in Pieces, because Jon Gries played Hayley's dad in Stick It.
Swallowed Like Daylight Into Morning. I have this obsession with this image: Parker and Jarod under a streetlight, one pushing the other against the wall. The light dies, leaving them in darkness. HOT.
Three Pint Barman, Dan Rydell (crossover with Sports Night).
Its Bloody Tip, A Signpost, Gar, the creepiest sweeper ever, watching and waiting and ready to move.
These Circles Of, Jarod and Miss P and a brief encounter.
The Rhythm of these Words, Jarod, Miss P, Angelo. Me indulging my obsession with languages.
The Little Voices, three ways that Chloe and Lyle meet. Crossover with Smallville.
The Man with the Missing Thumb is a parody on the James Bond genre. It is technically unfinished, but can stand alone.
All the Flickering Lights is Miss Parker and wing!fic, which is an old style that I still love so so much. It gives so many opportunities, characters in familiar yet unfamiliar situations, and the image of Jarod grooming Parker's wings is such an enduring, lovely one.
Lived an Illusion, 200 words of Jarod and Death (crossover with Sandman).
This Rollercoaster, five ways that it ends between Jarod and Miss Parker (+ soundtrack).

Real Person Lies:
Running with Mascara Eyes, Narnia RPF. The children during the filming of Prince Caspian.
A Sweet Display of Nothingess (Of Everything) (Of Nevermind). Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson are old darlings, delightful old friends for years, playing tricks on one another and acting in one another's movies.
Walking on the Lines, a brief moment with Eva Green and Daniel Craig (scroll to find).
Until His Dignity, Dissolved by the Wayside, Allison Janney and her West Wing darlings.
No Recognisable Tune, Eva Green and Daniel Craig. They are adorable, and very hot.

Smallville:
Not the Wrong Girl, because Chloe is more than second-rate bylines.
The Little Voices, three ways that Chloe and Lyle meet. Crossover with the Pretender.
Each Wave, Driven Ahead by the Last is yet another in my series of never-ending fics of Chloe and Lex trying to take over the world.

Space: Above and Beyond:
Show Me the Way (to go home. Paul Wang, and the things that we keep close.

Sports Night:
Three Pint Barman, Dan (crossover with tP).

Stealth:
This Could Be A Warning Bell, Kara, pre-movie, finding her feet.

Stick It:
On Not Knowing the Way. Wei-Wei takes Mina home with her.
Thankful You're in Pieces, because Jon Gries played Hayley's dad in Stick It. Crossover with The Pretender.

X-Men:
Lights Turned Way Down Low, an excuse for Rogue to join the Brotherhood.
On the Same Wave, Jubilee and the New Years that have come before.

CROSSOVERS (in order written):
Thankful You're in Pieces, The Pretender/Stick It.
Three Pint Barman, The Pretender/Sports Night. Dan Rydell.
The Little Voices, The Pretender/Smallville. Three ways that Chloe and Lyle meet.
Lived an Illusion, The Pretender/Sandman. Jarod meets Death.

True. But that doesn't excuse the summer and all the bits after that, though.

Any idea where an American reader might get her hands on the latest three Phryne Fisher novels? I can't find anything after The Castlemaine Murders for less than $40 + shipping, and I can't convince the library to order them as I'm the only one who has checked out their copy of Ruddy Gore in several years.

Oh, I've no idea. It's not something I've ever thought of, because I just walk into the bookstores to buy mine here. Sorry!
