Hello! I actually *just* friended you, because I've seen you around quite a bit on BSG fandom and, well, like you. I friended you a while back because I love your BSG fic, but damn if you aren't amusing on all fannish fronts. THank you so much for the Firefly penguin story.

As for who I am, well, I've written novel length stories in the Harry Potter fandom, thought about stalking the cast of Farscape, lusted after Lex Luthor's lips (and I have a tendency towards alliteration) and generally been a good fangirl.

I'm 29, severely addicted to LUSH, BPAL and Bidwell Botanicals. I do a lot of insane crafty things to pay for these habits.

I'm not able to work outside of the home due to chronic illness and at this moment, the fact that my stupidity led me to recently break both feet. It was a tragic accident involving a staircase, a goat and a snowboard... don't ask ;)

Um, well, I haven't really been *lurking*, but I'll go (because I have also been recently friended by a few people and I have NO IDEA why or how they found me, so I get the sentiment). Anyway. I am Zorb, Californian fan-type of things including (but not limited to) BSG, HP, and Narnia. I use fandom to procrastinate on grad school, which is sucking my life away. Sometimes this procrastination involves fic, but more often, it's just squeeing. I friended you in a BSG friending spree a couple months ago because your posts are always interesting and often lead to other cool things. I would never insist that anyone friend me in return and will vanish by request, too. But I'd rather not!

Well, I discovered your journal one day while searching for Narnia fic a while back. Read your stuff, loved it, decided to friend you. Saw the posts about CoD and got interested in it and subsequently started reading Dune WHICH IS SO FANTASTIC OMFG. I also recently watched and loved BSG S1 so now I can fully appreciate all the fic and references, so yay!

I am severely fannish without actually being that involved in fandom, if that makes any sense.
